Gitti Joseph, BS is a 2nd Year MSW student at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Gitti Joseph has worked within the field of eating disorders for the past 5 years, her work ranging from volunteering with ANAD (National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders), to conducting research on survivors of intimate partner violence and disordered eating, in addition to receiving accolades for her research at national and international eating disorder conferences. Gitti has a passion for helping Orthodox Jews overcome their eating disorders in a safe and heimishe environment, abiding by halacha and religious guidance every step of the way. She is the founder and co-chair of the Eating Disorders in Jewish Communities special interest group at the Academy of Eating Disorders.
Hindy (Daskal) Spielman, BA is a 2nd year MSW student at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and student intern who is deeply passionate about helping individuals discover their own voice in therapy. She is committed to fostering self-empowerment and self-efficacy, and supporting clients in understanding their inner and outer worlds in ways that feel authentic, meaningful, and life-giving. Hindy approaches her work with compassion, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s inherent strength and capacity for growth.
