Here at Neshama Nourished, we perform two different consultation types: General and Insurance Navigation. Eating disorder care can create hurdles that we at Neshama Nourished are ready to help! 

General Consultations: Learning more information about eating disorders, getting help discerning if you or a loved one have an eating disorder, and appropriate next steps regarding treatment. 

Project Heal Treatment Scholarship Navigation: Project Heal is a non-for-profit organization that helps people find low-cost or free resources for eating disorder treatment at all levels of care. Project Heal has partnerships with various eating disorder facilities that will allow eligible candidates* to attend treatment for free, as well as paying for things such as travel and food costs**.

Insurance Navigation Consultations: For those looking to attend treatment, but are unsure about where to start regarding insurance or treatment payment. This 60-minute call will hlp you to navigate the benefits of your current insurance carrier, and ways to get the most from your insurance when applying for eating disorder treatment.

Mental Health Advocacy:  Eating disorder treatment can be diffciult when dealing with insurance providers, personal schedules, and juggling daily life, but what should be hard is finding a therapist and treatment team that understands you, your Yiddishkeit, and how it all intersects in your treatment. This call helps to prep clients and their loved ones in navigating treatment while observing the laws of kashurs and Shabbes, as well as organizing an advocacy call between the client, the client's treatment team, and Neshama Nourished in order to break down the information of being an observant Jew in treatment, and clearly seperate mitzvos from disorder.***
