If you are currently a professional or a student at any level of your education, the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED) is a national organization that focuses on the research and education surrounding eating disorder care. The AED provides special interest groups (SIG) for their members, one of which is dedicated to the Jewish community. This group is designed for Jewish and non-Jewish professionals and students, a space to collaborate a learn from our colleges in order to best serve the Jewish community as a whole. ANAD provides various opportunities for students and professionals alike to help those struggling from eating disorders. Offering mentorship, hotlines, and additional support groups, ANAD volunteers are trained to make a difference in the communities. Volunteers can join whether or not they themselves have lived experience on an eating disorder or cared for someone that had an eating disorder. VOLUNTEER NOW
NEDA allow those who are inspired to raise awareness and fight for change in the world of eating disorders to do just that. Offering many opportunities to volunteer, engage in fundraising oppertunities, and become a leader in thier communities in the fight a against eating disorders.
